Thank you for being the first commenter on my re-launched blog.

Being a newly graduated job seeker with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, I am developing some kind of portfolio as a web(software) developer. This book about Social Web is something I picked up from a bookstore without any special knowledge about it. I'm little embarrassed to answer to your question if I have any more book to recommend.

I've been more interested in coding aspect of web development, so I wanted to add more knowledge about marketing or social interactivity of web site. So far(only three chapters I've read) the book has been insightful to me. It's recommended for "Clarifying the abstract ideas" by a professor in a Korean university.

As you've noticed, I am learning PHP and MySql and Ajax for my web development. Thank you for the link about Mastering Ajax, I love to have any kind of resources from anywhere. Likewise, I hope this series becomes a great starting point for me too.

Sincerely.

How is your learning going. I am also looking at doing this now for my own social website ideas. Do you have any recommendations for books now that you've started using some?

I'm a bit of an Tim Ferriss first principles fan at the moment so this series from IBM has been a great starting point for me:
